Nicole has been working in London’s fashion Industry for almost 20 years. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BA Hons in Fashion Design she spent the next 10 years working her way up the ranks in the fashion department at Marie Claire magazine. Whilst there she was styling, directing and writing fashion stories as well as dressing many A list celebrities from Elle Macpherson to Simon Cowell.
In 2010, after 9 amazing years, Nicole decided to leave to embark on her freelance career. Over the past 10 years she has been working as a freelance fashion stylist, art director and brand consultant. Her career has encompassed styling celebrities on the red carpet, advertising campaigns for luxury brands along with shooting editorially for magazines such as Harpers, L’Officiel, Elle, Glamour, Stylist to mention a few. Nicole also has a number of other creative business ventures. She can be found presenting ‘Beauty Fashion Friends’ podcast, where herself and Nathalie Eleni – Beauty Director, talk all things fashion and beauty, giving listeners insider tips and the latest trend advice straight from the catwalk as well as an access all areas interview from behind the scenes at one of their celebrity cover shoots.
Her newest business venture, Ceremony by Parmar Parker, was started after her own wedding last September. She has teamed up with fashion designer Carolyn Parmar, the designer who made her dress, to declutter the wedding process and help couples come up with innovative ideas and concepts to make their day one to remember. Nicole is not only in demand as a stylist but also as a brand ambassador and style guru and sometimes even designer with numerous companies constantly seeking her advice and style expertise. She previously collaborated with bespoke shoe maker Upper Street, where she designed two collections of shoes for ladies with larger feet. Having always struggled to find shoes herself being a size 43 she thought it was about time this gap in the market was filled.
Her other attributes have included various TV appearances on shows such as, This Morning, Clothes Show and Jo Malone High Street dreams along with presenting a series for UK Style TV on style secrets. Alongside this she also launched Marie Claire TV reporting from the red carpet and behind the scenes at London Fashion week as well as being the host on the makeover stage at the National Wedding show.
She also runs a bespoke personal shopping service for both men and women offering clients everything from a wardrobe overhaul to personal shopping for specific occasions, giving trend advice developing each individuals style.
